Yu-Ching (Emma) Ostendorp is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). She earned her Master of Science degree from Johns Hopkins University and has been practicing mental health counseling since 2005. She is fluent in both English and Chinese and has worked extensively with adults, adolescents, children and families from diverse backgrounds in outpatient settings. Her integrative approach to therapy is built on a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients. She is culturally sensitive and provides a safe, supportive and nonjudgmental space for clients to process their struggles in life, work, and relationships. She assists her clients in exploring options and choosing behaviors that will lead to a positive change. She has experience treating a wide range of mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, complicated grief, bipolar, cultural and adjustment issues, couples and family relational difficulties, emotional and sexual abuse, and feelings regulations.
