Erica’s goal is to help the client explore the root of their distress while also learning and implementing coping skills to improve their ability to manage stressors. Erica’s approach in sessions is to modify ineffective thoughts and behaviors while also validating the current emotional experience through acceptance and distress tolerance. She is experienced in working with individuals, families, and groups and has worked with both intensive long-term care and short-term problem focused treatment.
Erica’s primary goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment for each client to gain insight and learn to manage their stress. She is an empathetic clinician who understands that therapy is not a one size fits all practice and will work with the client to help them work towards a more fulfilling life.
