Aaron is a Licensed Master Social Worker who received their degree from University of Maryland Baltimore, and is currently working under the supervision of Laura Kogelschatz, LCSW-C. Aaron has experience working with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and ADHD. Aaron has interest working with individuals going through life transitions, family disputes, relationship problems, men’s issues, grief/loss, trauma, low self-esteem, and those struggling to find meaning in life. Aaron has an integrative approach to therapy, and uses psychodynamic theory, motivational interviewing, and narrative therapy in their practice. His primary goal as a clinician is cultivating a space where all clients feel safe, comfortable, and ready to work towards their goals.
Prior to their time as a psychotherapist, Aaron worked as a behavior therapist in schools, homes, and inpatient settings. A lifelong Marylander, and current Baltimorean, Aaron loves the community he works in. When he is not in the office, you can find him taking leisurely jogs through the city streets, doing his best not to butcher Beethoven on the piano, or curled up on the couch with his cat and a good book. Aaron is currently seeing clients virtually and in-person at the Federal Hill location.
