Barbara is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland. After earning a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University she continued her graduate studies at the University of Baltimore where she received a Certificate in Professional Counseling Studies in 2012.

Barbara’s experience includes providing mental health services in a variety of settings including mental health and substance abuse outpatient centers. She also has experience providing case coordination services for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Barbara is a compassionate and empathetic counselor. She utilizes an integrative approach to counseling that incorporates cognitive-behavioral and person-centered therapy.

She has experience working with clients with various mental health and addiction issues including:
