Erin Fitzgerald is a Maryland Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and has worked in the mental health setting for the last 6+ years. Her therapeutic orientation involves the use of Cognitive-Behavioral Theory and includes a strength-based approach to working with clients. She is an empathic individual who utilizes cognitive techniques along with behavioral and mindfulness techniques to help clients make important changes in their lives.
Erin earned her Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University in Maryland where she also completed additional coursework. She has completed training in an outpatient mental health setting as well as a crisis facility and has experience working with a diverse population. She has experience providing services to children, adolescents, and adults. In addition, she is experienced in the following areas: depression, anger management, behavioral/attentional issues, anxiety, self-esteem issues, adjustment disorders, and more. Erin tailors her approach with each client to best meet his or her own unique needs.
