Dr. Rosenthal serves as the Medical Director for Congruent Counseling’s Intensive Outpatient Program as well as the Psychiatric Consultant for Integrative Counseling for the past six years. He is fully trained in both adult and child psychiatry and has a board certification in adult psychiatry.

Dr. Rosenthal has experience treating a broad range of psychiatric and behavior disorders, including depression, seasonal affective disorder (SAD), anxiety, bipolar disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), substance abuse, autism, Asperger’s disorder, and more. He also has extensive experience in clinical trials of new medications for the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders in adults and children. Dr. Rosenthal is also certified to prescribe Suboxone for opiate addiction.

He grew up in Rockville, Maryland and has lived in the state almost all of his life. He earned his undergraduate degree in English and American Literature at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA and then went on to receive his medical degree and adult and child psychiatry training at the University of Maryland in Baltimore.

Dr. Rosenthal sees patients with Integrative Counseling. Dr. Rosenthal is not in-network with any insurance or Medicare. However, we will help you figure out if you have out of network benefits that may allow you to get reimbursed by your insurance company for his services.
