Kyra has experience working with clients who experience depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, boarderline personality, anxiety, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, adjustment disorders, anger management, relationship troubles, self-esteem challenges, and parenting challenges. She also is an advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community, specializing in areas of sexuality and gender identity. Kyra individualizes her interventions based on client needs and primarily focuses on dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
Kyra views therapy as a partnership between herself and the client, creating a trusting and supportive relationship. She sees therapy through a dielectric lens of accepting yourself without judgement and simultaneously changing destructive behaviors so you can live a healthier life. She enjoys helping clients reach their goals and make positive changes in their lives.
