Stress, illness, and unplanned life changes can disrupt anyone’s life. As a licensed clinical professional counselor, my goal is to help you restore balance in your life and gain a sense of peace. I use an integrative approach relying heavily on cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic techniques to help you achieve your goals. I provide individual, group, and family counseling with persons aged 8 to 60 with primary issues of bipolar and related mood disorders, grief counseling, Autistic Spectrum disorders, and child and adolescent disorders including ADHD and learning disorders as well as behavioral or conduct disorders.
I am certified as an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS) and as a Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist (CAGCS) In addition to my outpatient counseling experience, I have experience working in prisons, schools, inpatient and outpatient mental health programs, group homes, crisis beds, and hospital emergency rooms.
