Amanda is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who received her Master’s degree from George Washington University. She has experience working with a variety of populations and topics such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, substance use, and more. Her past experiences have afforded her opportunities to work from different therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care; she is passionate about finding what works for each client and creating the space for individuals to change and grow.
Amanda has also worked in a variety of settings in the past including state agencies, hospitals, and residential treatment centers. Informed by these experiences, she strongly believes in taking a collaborative approach with all of her clients. Therapy is not a directive series of tasks but rather a journey that we take together. Amanda currently sees individual adults and older adolescents at the Millersville location.
