Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Christine DesLauriers, is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is qualified to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for children, adolescents, and adults. Christine has worked in both military and civilian disciplines for over 20 years, within the Women’s Health specialty as well as working directly with our Wounded Warriors at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and as a nurse consultant at the National Institute of Health in the Division of AIDS where she supports extramural research to further the mission in finding a cure.

Christine is passionate about wanting to help others and understands how our mental health balance is the foundation for both physical and spiritual healing. Christine practices with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach. Her goals are to provide psychotherapy and psychopharmacology, if needed, while helping her clients identify their struggles while developing behavioral strategies that can empower modification and/or resolution while inducing mindful balance.
