Graeme is a Licensed Master Social Worker with a MSW from the University of Maryland, Baltimore currently under the supervision of Laura Kogelschatz, LCSW-C. He has experience working with both adult clients, adolescents, and children helping with grief and loss, depression, anxiety, professional burnout, compassion fatigue, and health and illness related stressors. Graeme uses an eclectic approach to person-centered therapy utilizing narrative, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed modalities. Prior to joining Congruent Counseling, he worked in the field of palliative and hospice care providing social and emotional support to people with serious illnesses, bereaved loved ones, caregivers experiencing stress, and healthcare workers struggling with burnout and trauma. As a therapist, he strongly believes in the transformational capacity of the therapeutic relationship and offering a shared space to clients where their thoughts, feelings, and life choices are taken seriously.
